40 and Fabulous: A Week of Birthday Surprises, Business Wins, and Embracing Our Stories

Hey there, fabulous people!

What a rollercoaster of a week it's been for me!

I mean, mostly it was a week of triumphs and celebrations, except for one little thing: the harsh reality of turning the big 4-0 hit me like a ton of bricks.

But hey, with age comes wisdom (right?) and a whole lot of birthday spoils!

My family went all out, showering me with fancy jewellery, adorable photos, and let's not forget the pièce de résistance—a double chocolate cake that was practically divine. Although, I did have to exercise some serious patience because it took a while for everyone to assemble at home. You know how it goes: kids at school, partners on a shopping spree, and waiting for my mom, the Energizer Bunny, who likes to run around until she collapses.

The absolute highlight of my week, though, has to be the incredible gifts I received from my clients-turned-dear-friends. These thoughtful presents made me feel like a million bucks and reassured me that they genuinely cared about me.

As a businesswoman, it's a massive confidence boost to know that my clients appreciate me beyond our professional interactions. I'm still beaming with joy!

But enough about my fabulous birthday shenanigans.

Let's talk business, shall we?

This week, I unleashed a lead magnet upon the vast expanse of the interwebs, and boy, did it work its magic! The results were downright mind-blowing! I landed a new client and bagged five audits to tackle.

Looks like I won't be twiddling my thumbs for the next few weeks.

Now, for those who are in the loop, you might have caught

my guest appearance on the TechPixies Sparkle and Thrive podcast last week.

If you missed it, fear not! You can tune in to the official podcast by clicking the button below.

Trust me, the adrenaline rush I experienced after the show ended is still pumping through my veins. It's like winning a marathon and dancing on cloud nine simultaneously.

Speaking of the podcast, the influx of messages I've received in the past week has been nothing short of amazing!

To all the lovely people who took time out of their busy schedules to reach out, thank you from the bottom of my heart. Your support means the world to me.

On the podcast, I opened up about our heartbreaking loss.

While discussing it openly is no longer as taboo as it once was, there's still an unfortunate stigma attached to such topics.

And it's not just this; countless other subjects should be discussed honestly and openly. After all, we all know that talking is one of the best things we can do.

As they say, a problem shared is a problem halved. Yet, when people find their voice and speak up, they're often met with resistance.

Seriously, why? Isn't this supposed to be a free world? Don't we all have the same rights?

So here's my advice to anyone out there with a story itching to be told: go ahead and share it! Step onto that pedestal and shout it from the rooftops! It doesn't matter if a select few respond negatively or if you lose a couple of friends along the way.

Let's face it, if they can bail on you so easily, they were never meant to be part of your fabulous world anyway.

Social media has played a vital role in helping me find my voice, not just because I know how it works, but because, no matter what you're going through, there's always someone out there who understands exactly how you feel—they've been there too.

So, my friends, I implore you to hop online and share your story in whatever way feels right to you. Let your voice be heard and connect with kindred spirits.

Embrace the magic of genuine human connection and remember that laughter, love, and a sprinkle of humour can make even the toughest of journeys a little lighter.

And you know what? Despite all the birthday celebrations and business victories, I'm here to let you in on a little secret: I still have room for more clients.

Yes, you heard that right! Even with my recent successes, my mission remains unchanged—to help as many people as possible.

So, if you need some top-notch guidance and support, don't hesitate to reach out. Together, we can conquer mountains and achieve greatness.

Now, go forth, my friends, and shower the world with your laughter, your stories, and your indomitable spirit.

Remember, life is too short to hold back. Embrace the joy, face the challenges, and let your light shine bright for all to see.

With love, laughter, and a sprinkle of professional pizzazz.

Till next time
